Well the ol' DC got Cindy and I home sunday but was making some sleeperndus noises. About 10 miles from home clutch started to slip and bad noises. Well I need the DC for the campout on Kellys Island which I am supposed to leave for friday. Got the engine out tonight and as I suspected, the flywheel had come loose again. This has happened once before, I attributed this to not properly torqueing it. So the last time I inspected things closely and used Red loctite and torqued properly with a NEW chromoly gland nut. Must not have been enough. Crank, fywheel and clutch are toast. Trans is fine, don't know about inside of engine block, that will come later. I will get some pics later. Iam trying to get my 1641 back together for the trip, it has been on run stand for 4 years.
