Hi. I'm new to this forum. The front and middle mounts for my clutch cable tube broke. The front cross member is trashed - completely broken off. The spot welds on the passenger side rusted out as water was getting in there. Continued use of the clutch caused the whole cross member to break off. Where can you buy a new one . I realize it's the pedal cluster mount as well and that pedal location is very important for the brakes. It's 1971 Superbeetle. I've got to get it on the road! I know there are various ways to "codge" it together but I want to do it right. I also have to find out where the waters getting in. I drilled two half inch holes at the lowest point for drainage. Thanks in advance for any help.
