I have a 66 Bug and would like to have high back seats (FYI: I'm not looking to get sell/trade my low backs). I believe 68-70? will fit. Can someone confirm what years will fit? Anyone have some to sell. I would be looking to redo them so I just need good working metal - they don't need to be pretty just functional.
Thanks!

I believe up to 1972 the seat frame rails are the same. My 1973 has different mounting for seats.

Thanks for the information. I just feel like having the high-backs would be better for any rear-end collision.

You want 68-70 seats as the 71-72 seats were the same principle except there were nylon sleeves that went on the rails.

I have a pair you can have for free in order to help clean up my garage. Good shape but have a couple of tears in the covers, covered by duct tape. Came out of a 69 Vert. Duneman
