Saw a quote the other day, and suddenly thought it might be directed at MadMike and Clinton...
"The definition of turbo lag is something that gives V8's hope."
Thought it was appropriate for the GoodVolks resident turbo racers...

I agree with you...turbos can be fun! When normal engines begin to run out of steam...a good turbo just gets stronger and stronger the faster you go!! :-)
DO 88 ( a Volvo tuning company from Sweden) makes a kit for my Volvo that would boost horsepower to 500 horsepower for about $2500.
My car already has the sodium-cooled large valves installed, so basically all I would have to do is switch turbos, switch to an even thicker all aluminum intercooler, install the better timing belt, and a new ECU and bigger injectors. Kind of tempting, but only for a few seconds. I asked about the transmission, and he said if I did not drag race it, it would be fine...
Probably...
It would, however most likely kill my rear end...
And drop my mileage to less than 10mpg.
Don't think I will be doing this.

I love the sound of a natural aspirated stroker motor but, boost is addicting!

Worse then drugs (rofl  ,,,I'm selling most of my N/A stash I have a brand new 1 3/4 ceramic coated Header, I won't be using ,,the rest of it is still in plastic,,, Attachments:

Looking at a pop-off valve to vent off boost so the turbo will spool up quicker...
Had one on the Mustang SVO, and loved it. A little more difficult on this motor because of the electrics, but there are a number of options here...
