Its been over 6 months since I have been able to log onto this site. Whenever I would try to log onto site my tablet would freeze up completely, I finally got logged on through another computer? But then when I tried through my tablet it worked perfectly, strange? Anyhow, I am glad to be back. Lots going on in my life lately,more on that later.

On Dec. 8th president of company announced that our plant would be reducing the workforce to one shift. That puts 130 out on street, 85 people left in plant. Most of us who have been there long enough can see the writing on the wall. We are pretty sure the plant will be mothballed come Oct/Nov of 2016 at the time that our current contract runs out. As the manning stands now, I will be laid off 02/08/2016. 26 years down the crapper, due to management ignorance, what a shame....
On a brighter note , I had seen this coming 6-8 years ago and got REAL serious about paying off our house. It has been a race as to which happens first, job goes tits up or mortgage gone. As of today morgage is about $1100 and I have a $500 check toput towards it.
I have a few options I am looking at, possible schooling. I might have to possibly stay working after the 8th due to people retiring or not beening able to due job. Also trying to bump in to maintanance. So 2016 is definitely going to be a NEW adventure, we shall see. Rick

Wow,, Crazy,, Got to watch those big plants,, up here in Gaylord a huge plywood plant., G/Pacific called all workers to The Lunch room and said your 'laid off'/Fired and Closed right then   no warning whatsoever |

Titan would have done that if they could , WARN act makes them give 60 day notice , which isn't much. Not a good company.
