Well, after 11 months, my Fiat 124 Coupe is home for few days. The paint is finally finished, but it will be wheeled out one last time after a few months to allow the paint to shrink and get rock hard. I had the car painted with 0 rather than lacquer or enamel. Far as I can tell, the only difference between a high-class enamel and the urethane is about $1000... There is no weatherstripping on the car right now, but it is really shiney... It will only be here a few days before it heads to Holt to have the new headliner installed, and most likely have the interior re-installed. Unfortunately, the car will be put up for sale in the spring, because I like the old Volvo better...Dorothy might actually go to some shows with me in the Volvo! (It has leather seats, air conditioning, a really good sound system, and is a much more pleasant car to ride in...) Also, it is an absolute ball to drive, 6.2 seconds to 60mph, and while doing a 15.6 second 1/4 mile. It is sort of addicting to make a high speed blast with it...this is an old-school turbo that just seems to get more powerful the faster it goes up to 6,000 rpm. I let Dorothy's oldest grandson drive it on Thanksgiving and he was flat out amazed with how quick it is. He was even more amazed when he found out that it was a 1987 car,,,and three years older than he is... Dave Riedle

Nice!
By the way, I thought I saw a hard top Puma in St Joseph a few weeks ago.

Silver, I think. I've slept since then.

That was probably Andrew Banes car. It's a 1981 pre-production car like mine, but this one was tested with a single carb, and twin catalytic converters...
I would think that "slow" would be an understatement.
He's a great guy.
