Yep, I have been messing with a MS2 I love it. It ran better then my CB kitt when I first installed it. I chose to build my own but and through the years i keep upgrading it. I started trigger with my MSD dizzy to going completely dizzy less running four coils. The best thing about MS is everything you need can be had at your local salvage yard. Thats if you dont mind doing some research and fabrication but, if you were hoping to just bolt one on get a hold of the dub shop he has some nice kits available.

I have my car set up for Street/strip. I have been playing with different intake designs and haven't had much time on it. I first started with the CB duel throttle bodys. They worked well but in a beetle there isn't much remove to work on anything. After visiting the shop talk forums, it seemed that most people were getting just as much power from a single throttle body so that is where I left off. My first set up wouldn't hold boost and I was unable to shut my deck lid like I wanted so version two is in the works.

I used Megajolt which is just the ignition half of juice. It was very easy, eliminated my crappy diz, but I got bored with out the fuel injection side of it.
Clinton did you use FI runners or just make your own and mount injectors in them?

I'm using CB rails and intakes. Coils are off of a 5.3l Chevy truck, the throttle body is off of a 2004 malibu, trigger wheel a ford f150, and the trigger sensor is from a dodge Durango. I chose to use GM sensors for the oil temp and intake air temp since DIY sells them and gives you the values to input into tuner studio. Kind of a frankinstine project.

I just bolted it to a aluminum degree pulley using old stock pushrods as spacers with 6mm bolts. Eventually I'd like to weld some thicker spacers to the pulley so that I can use 8mm bolts.

Ok, that's what I did to. When I think back to that motor I wonder if I didn't throw the crank balance off with that and that's why the motor blew up.lol

I'll have to check the balance of my pulley since it's off the crank right now but, I kind of find it hard to believe that it would cause an engine to blow up. It may cause the main bearings to wear a little sooner then if the crank was balanced.
