Anybody ever heard of a swingaxle with a 5/13 ring and pinion? A friend of mine got out of VW's and gave me a fresh swingaxle with a aftermarket Richmond 5/13 r/p, heavy duty steal side cover, beef-a-diff, and close ratio 3rd and 4th gears. I have never heard of this ratio for a swingaxle and can't imagine what it is like. I'm thinking about the same as an old gear reduction bus tranny. Anyone have any input on this setup?

Thanks Mike. I don't know what I'm going to do with this thing. Maybe change out the r/p since everything else is fresh. The pinion gear is tiny in this thing. I should have taken a picture of it before I put it back together.

No Rhino case Mike. This was a stock swing my buddy built for his buggy a few years ago. He loved to build things from odd swap meet part that he came across. He built a de-stroked 64x92 roller bearing 1702 once that was pretty fun.
