Hi, everyone! I'm a Harsh Winters Chicago border jumper who gets up to your area fairly often.

I was at the Gilmore Museum Red Barn thing this past summer and talked to a couple of VW owners there. Unfortunately, I have a terrible memory, and forget the names of the guys I talked to (2 guys had Ghias.) I took a few pics - maybe you recognize some of the folks / rides! I think that pink & white fat chick is for sale on Samba, right?

I missed this show this year because I had to work but "Splash" is my parents Bug next to it is the Father in law of the girl who owns the Pink and White Bug who was in our Club but has not been around much lately then Bren's 67 Bug and the second Orange Ghia is Aki's car. The two-tone Bug is Ron of the MVWG's Bug.

Yup, that is us. We will be there again this year too.

The sunshine from the past couple days has been killing me. It looks warm but its 0
