I need a seat for my supper beetle. On craiglist I found seats from a 1967 beetle they look the same but not sure. any imput is appreciated

Welkome Cory,No the 67 seats won't fit ,U need tri-pod mounted style as in Super beetle only

When you say the mounting style is try pod do you mean that the base has feet that are mounted to the floor pan. I took some pictures of the driver seat and the rail for the passenger

'71 supers are NOT tri pod style mount, unless the pans were changed. Tri pod mounts started in '73, on standards and supers. I believe the '67 seats will fit.

The seat rails are wider from late 1970 thru 1972 in both Std and Super Beetles. The earlier seats don't fit, unfortunately.
