I have a 1600 engine and when I release the clutch pedal the engine accelerates without touching the gas pedal. I have reran the accelerator cable to ensure it was not catching on the clutch cable. Also while in any gear it accelerates the engine without touching the gas pedal. Any ideas before I put a new clutch kit in?
