With the blue bus on it's way to it's new owner in California it was time to pull the motor and get it ready for Spring. Time to take it to the Bug Doctor for a check up!

Wrong shroud, should have doghouse cooler. Also that front tin is a one year only piece. If you decide to keep that shroud and cooler I have the early front tin with no hole for doghouse cooler, trades? ??

Thanks Rick. I plan to change this back to the stock dog house cooler. That is part of the appeal of the '71. I was happy to see they did not get rid of the front tin when I discovered the cooler/filter they put in. Main goal is to full flow this one, change the oil cooler, add 1.25 rockers and 87's. Should be a nice update and keep the stock intake for the brake vacuum line.

Yep, and that intake is a one year only. Will you be able to full flow with the mustache bar? Are you going back to heater boxes?

I had full flow on the 2110 in the blue bus, Gene Berg pump and adapter makes it all work. I kept that motor. I will move the berg pump cover to this motor. Going to run heater boxes this time around. I am going to use the vintage speed exhaust again too. Going to be a much tamer set up than the last one.

This sure sounds like a happening bus! Can't wait to see pictures when it's done!
