We went to Dorothy's cousin today for several hours. He has most tools known to man, and many he used in the past, but has not used in many years.
We were getting ready to go, and he asked if I would ever need to synchronies multiple carburetors, and if I did, could I use a carb synchronization tool?
Of course I could, and he brought out an original Uni-Sync tool and asked if I could use it.
Of course I can!
This is the same tool that EMPI makes as a knock-off in China.
This one dates from the early 60's, and it is actually made in the USA. It is still being made, but the new ones are made in China now.
Its in the original box, and still has an old, yellow set of instructions with it. Very cool, and very useful I would think, even though I just purchased a German tool to sync Webers. It can never hurt to have multiple tools!

My dad always told me that you can never have too many tools. Within reason, he was probably right.

I have one of those original ones with the box. My Dad gave it to me. He had it from his first car, a volvo. I have made good use of it. Real nice tool. I also bought one of the snail style. Sometimes the Uni-Sync just works better, especially in the bus as I can't see the top of the snail to read it.
