Your fine. It's not like your loading it up or anything. Wide open with a load on the engine, now that might be a different story.
Oh, Dave, I did some brain picking. If you are looking for new exhaust valves for the Type 4 engines, the single piece stainless SI Valves are good ones to get. They hold up to the heat better than the stick three piece valves. Regrind them before installing to make sure they are nice and true. This May or may not have come from Jake Raby. Winkwink.
