Spotted a electric beetle on the front page. Anyone have a chance to read the article? Anyone know the man who built the car? Does he have a club card yet? ;D

I have an eletric motor and charging system for a VW for sale (batterys not included ;D)$500 takes it ,I'll be at the GTG,Madmike

How much Hp would that electric setup produce?? Was it ever installed? Does it come with a speed controler (or is that the charging system you talked about?) ?? I always dreamed of doing one of these.
