Frankfort, MI camping trip

Went camping in Frankfort this past weekend. Saw quite a few VW's.
On our way up on a empty two lane road, saw a really nice red early beetle coming the opposite direction.
We both waved and kept going, was not fast enough with the camera this time.

In town we saw this nice Thing:

Jeff and Suzie were at the same campground as us, they came in Saturday night in this nice late bay from Ann Arbor.
They had just bought it 6 weeks ago and worked hard to have it ready for this vacation.
Spent quite a bit of time talking VW's with them on our way out of the campground and of course made sure they had a club card and Bug Run Flier!


On our way out of the gas station we saw this bug go by:


Half way home, at the gas station we stopped at and wiped up lots of oil (yup, oil cap came off, or was never put on )we saw this bus turning around.


Saw two other bugs we did not get photos of. One super parked in a lot near the road. No for sale sign or we would have gone back.
Then saw a early gray beetle at a repair shop in Clare, MI on our way to Cops and Doughnuts! Too hungry to stop for a photo
