I think I've finally got my new Baja setup to where it's going to be reliable and things are slowing down now so I'm thinking it's time to get some trail driving in before the snow hits. I'm in Holland and would like to keep it as local as I can but I'm thinking the closest trails are going to be just north of Muskegon.
If anyone can help me find some places to rock my baja that aren't hours away that'd be great.
If anyone would want to get a group going for a saturday or sunday ride that'd be cool too. It's always nice to have help if ya need it.

I am also in holland and I would be into doing a trail ride! My rail is not 100% running right yet but when it is Im sure my wife and I would join ya. There are some decent seasonal roads south of hamilton.

Well if you need a hand with the rail let me know. I was tempted to wander around Hamilton this weekend looking for some fun, but I was on weekend duty and it didn't work out. I'm really itchin to get some offroading in; to the piont I'm getting a little grumpy. lol I need to get back to work on my woods buggy I guess...

Man I was so excited for a second seeing another person from nearby. to find out it is the same person i have been talking to but if anyone else is interested planning a trail riding trip down some trails just east of fremont heading north to baldwin should be about a 4-6 hour trip their so we would most likely be leaving saturday around 9-10am (saturday the 9th of august)

I'm in Fruitport and am always in for some trail riding in the greater N Muskegon, Rothbury, Hesperia, Fremont to Baldwin areas! My tub buggy is having some carb issues right now...but I would take my Jeep...if that's legal on a VDub sponsored trail ride;)

I'm thinking winchin' has some good plans for a route. I'm going to tenatively plan on Saturday the 9th of August to be flyin around 9am, exact location yet to be announced. I will prolly be taking my motorhome up from Holland Friday and pulling the baja and camping somewhere nearbye so I can be there at 9. If anyone has any suggestions on places to stay or similar ideas lemme know, ok?

It does make me wonder. I wont be able to make it on the 9th, even though I will already be up north! Rail is not ready yet and I have to stay with my neice at the cabin all day.

yea my fiance's dad might bring his rubicon along to lead the way for us as he is great on the trails sitting on 31/10.5 wrangler mtr kevlars, and about 2.5-3.5" of lift (cannot remember exactly) besides it would be nice to have some jeeps along in case a dub cannot do the job pulling someone out
