www.mvvc.net/eventpages/Festival%202014/festival.html27th Annual Michigan Vintage Volkswagen Festival May 18th, Riverside Park, Ypsilanti, MI  A group of us are going to meet at the Burger King in Battle Creek (Beckley and Capital, right of of I-94) We plan to leave from there at 7:30am in hopes of arriving at the show around 9:30am. We will be taking I-94. We plan to run 65mph approximately. Need more information? Post your questions here. I plan on leaving Lansing between 7 - 7:30, but am staying off the highways, going thru Mason to Territorial road.

I am planning on attending, but there are two big "IF's" for me...no rain, and I have a vet friend that is have $100,000 if software installed by a company on Friday and Saturday.
If all goes well, and no rain, I'm in. If there is a problem at Will's office, I may be in there on Sunday...
I'm thinking back roads are fine!

Plan on being there. Its close to home for me (20 mins. or so)If anyone needs anything while you/re out this way (garage, pick up truck, tools etc.) look me up. Don't carry too much with me in the bus but like I said close to home

Its surprisingly not as bad as I may have thought. Its going to be a nice day but the ground will be a tad soft. Water is high, but not on the banks. Ill be going to the cruise tomorrow at 10am, it starts at the Hudson Dealership/museum 100 east cross st Ypsilanti mi 48198. There is also a nice dinner at 5pm. Then the fun begins on Sunday. Ill have these Hot wheels ramps there. There will be Munks doing some work on cars and How too's and Norris racing will have some running engines there. Also State of mind Customs will have product on display including their new battery cut off switch kit made for VW's (got on in Ally its sweet). It should be a fun time.

Great Show,Good trip, Slite oil leak kept the 'Tailgaters' off my A$$ (rofl)Ran like a swiss watch 8-)Found a few trinkets in the swap area  Had a little tail wind on the way home 26.3 MPG,Big Thanks to MVVC Good job DAN!!!!!!!!!!!! |
