I gassed up the Pig of Plastic, charged the battery, and took her out for the first drive of the season. I was surprised to have to charge the battery, but it is an Optima Red Top, and it may be near the end its life. I will see what happens. Otherwise, everything seemed fine, other than the gas gauge, which seems to have died. It has been intermittent for years, but it does not register at all now. I always forget how sharp the car is, compared to my Saturn. I don't miss the power brakes, but the power steering is another thing. I am replacing the drop spindles as soon as possible, but it will be in a few weeks at the earliest. Another issue with this is that I decided to replace the ball joins and outer tie rod ends at the same time, and they sent everything to an address I have not been at in 6 years! The spindles came to the right address, so they can't figure out why they used such an old address. Anyway, they are re-shipping them today. If it does not rain tomorrow, I may drive the car all day. I missed it,,, Dave
