sunroof adjustment 78 bay

Put the sunroof back in it's place and it functions just fine.
The front and rear seam is a bit wide but since I did not look at it, I have no idea what's to wide. 1/8, 1/4 inch?
Also, the match up in hight of the sliding sunroof panel and the the roof itself has to be adjusted but I'm not sure just how to get the needed hight out of the adjusters.
The manual is not that specific when it comes to final adjustment.
Could use some suggestions, real ones :-)
