What Winter Projects are you planning to work on this year?

What do you plan to do this winter?

I have been hoarding deck-lids. I plan to make some of these to sell:



I think I am going to use this one first. Going for the Patina look. Maybe one of those Michiana people will be interested in it:



This is a toy from my childhood. Have wanted to make some of these for a long time. Maybe now I will make one for my Granddaughter!



I seem to often plan to get into the workshop and do woodworking in the winter and end up working on cars instead.
Hoping this winter will be different....

Ummm .... I ( dad and I ) picked up a sand rail frame yesterday. It will be done by the end of March. So when the dunes open ( April 1 st ) it can be at the cottage.

I have a narrowed beam with dropped spindles that might go on this winter. I would like to re-do Ruby's interior before the summer bug run.

This past year I spent too much time on the Westy. Next year I would like to "finish" Ruby.

Christmas break projects...IF I will even be home for two weeks...
-Finish boxing up the trailing arms and reassemble them.
-Extend front shock towers
-Cut and Turn the front beam
-Turn the front drums

...If I'm not gona be around for long, these will probably turn into summer projects

Also, I will probably keep plugging away at my latest pair of speakers. Just another long time hobby of mine.

Plan 1 Get "Rooster" back on the sand. 2) Finish Ruffuss. 3) and a distant 3rd at that, dig out "Bart" and give him the once over, hasn't seen the light of day for 30 some years(Steven was a baby).

What is Rooster and Bart? We need more info. And pictures.

Rooster is the burgundy sand rail,
Bart is the 62 Vert

Rooster(tail) is a 902 Berrien shortback, built in the early 70's redone into a long back in the mid 80's.Redone again into an almost 4 seater(2 adults and 2 kids) Used a lot into the 2000's and put up after my Father-in-law passed.
(Black) Bart named by the former owner, I've owned since the early 80's. You wouldn't believe what I paid for him, running driving,new top, never seen salt. Parked (drove) in the garage put under a cover. Hasn't seen the outside world since. My retirement project, this coming year I officially retire. If my back will allow? I'll start the process.
