No power here. Consumers says Friday 11:30 before it is restored. Merry Christmas....
Otherwise all is OK.
Pre-bought a generator yesterday. Supposed to be in this morning.

Drove to Gaylord and back yesterday. Max speed going up was 62 in Mom's 2013 taurus.Coming back 131 was smooth sailing from Reed City on down.

We were able to get a generator. Thanks to the good people at Family Farm and Home. With help from a good friend we have it hooked up and running furnace, well and a few other key items.

Nope, not the barn. But I have lights in the basement. Good place to rebuild bus seats.
According to consumers energy Sunday we had the worst ice storm in 10 years. Over 200,000 without power. Most will probably not get power back before Christmas.

Sux being dependent on electricity  ,for once we didn't have an outage,  , last year this time 5days  Glad everyone is safe and Dirk, U should of been a History Teacher,u have a passion for it,cool info for sure |

If anyone ever needs to borrow a generator, I am about an hour from Battlecreek. It is a 5000 watt, and you are more than welcome to it.

As I type.... Temp -12* -35* wind chill. The last two days we have had 18" of new snow on top of what as already here. Drift across the middle of the drive about 3' deep. Snow blower has gotten a work out.
