Sept. 13 14 and 15th. 3500 cars of all types. At the Kalamazoo Expo Center. We normally cruise the Motels/ Hotels along Sprinkle Rd/Cork St. and end up along the Service Rd behind Arbys at Cork St and Sprinkle Rd in the evening to watch a steady parade of vehicles(even some Burnouts, until the cops show up). we're going to the show/swap Saturday and cruise both Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening Anyone else want to join us?? $12. to enter the Fair Grounds but the cruise is free.

I have to leave by 1pm for, what else....soccer. Hope to see you before. Yesterday we parked along the service road fence. Never really know where there will be a spot though.

Sorry I missed you. I didn't have time to go down every row. Saw two Beetles at the show. A set of running boards in the swap meet was the only VW parts I saw.

There was a trailer full of way over priced VW engines, a couple of head light assemblies(early), sand rail side panels(fiberglass), 4 dog dish hub caps and a couple of torsions that I saw, all where over priced IMHO! And the running boards. One of the type III engines apparently sold I saw three guys hauling it out into the parking area. Didn't make it back today, raining pretty hard. Besides had two soccer games....... one early and the other in the rain! But had a blast!! Addy liked it also. Especially any car pink or purple. She wanted to take them home and store them at Poppas.

We where along the entrance fence near the first gate, both Friday and Saturday. Watched them come in and when it slowed down made a run at the swap, got some Red Neck Fries and walked around to see what else was there. Had a guy swear and insist Ruffuss was a kit car??
