Big Big Frankenmuth Auto fest This weekend!!!!

Will be a fun event. Over 2000 cars, all 78 and older. We VW folks get our own baseball diamond for Saturday. So if you want to check out a Super cool show and meet up with MVVC people and other misc Vw peeps from Michigan Join us. Im trying to get 20 or more cars. It is not a free show. It is 20.00 to register. you can register at the event, well at the Dodge dealer in town Schafer and Bierlien Chryco. If you want to come for Fridays activities (they shut down main street and fill it with show cars 5pm - 10pm, you can camp at my house. Just drop me a line.

I ran into HEAVY rain on the way to Frankenmuth Saturday.

I was on the way to Frankenmuth to the show around 12:30 today when I ran into some very heavy (Noah's arc style) rain today.

The Pig of Plastic is not really that watertight, and it's unpleasant at speed in heavy rain, so I turned around and came home. I passed a club ride with 30 or so Harley's a couple of miles back on on the way into the storm, and I flagged them down to warn them. They headed back into Owosso to find cover.

Hope it did not hit Frankenmuch.
