VW AC

I have a 74 Thing with AC. Car came from Florida, maybe it made sence down there but it doesnt make much to me here.

So my question is, Is there a market for a complete used VW AC system. Not saying yet that I am going to remove it from my car but I am wondering if it would be of interest to maybe a Bug owner.

I see the unit is still avalable new in a kit form.(1800.00) So replacment parts if ever needed should be avalable.

So what do you guys think?

I also had one, tried to sell it and no one was interested in spending more then a hundred dollars/ or so on it. Finally traded it off.
