Thanks all, where are all the good junk yards? I am a transplant from Minnesota and just acquired my VWs in the past year, but I would prefer to shop local so do you have recomendations for part stores that stock new and used air cooled VW parts? Nice to shop local and small to keep these folks around.

Welcome to the club. A lot of VW people have part hoards, post in wanted classified, some of us might be able to hook you up. If you want to scrounge and dig around and shoot the breeze I never have issue with that, stop over. RICK
