I've known about these two for a while, stopped, asked about them and looked, when I saw someone mess'n around the barn, it happened to be the owners son and buddy. I made an offer to buy the pair, if I hear more I'll let everyone know. One is a 63' rag(the one I'm most interested in) and the other is 66', both in pretty good condition. mostly complete. The 66 has rear quarter dented up, but other wise solid. The 63 is solid and complete, buddy said they were going to make Baja's out of them and I told him they were to nice for that and I'd help them find an already cut car. If they were for sale to let me know, we could have them out of there inside an hour. What do you think? Later Kenn

Well depending on price and condition of course, I'm interested. The 66 sounds interesting though my first choice would be the rag. I've got 1K to spend now on anything I want and can higher for the right car.
Why is it these guys always want to make "baja's"? Old so chop it up mentality... sheesh. And its usually some crappy baja job that couldn't actually make it through the dunes anyway. Sad.

Wow I can't believe people get ahold of such Beetles to make Baja's out of. There are so many Baja's out there already and they are usually cheap. I hope you guys rescue them out of there.
