Grand Opening Car Show at LaFontaine Volkswagen

Hey everyone -

My name is Jason Fox and I an the Business Development Manager at LaFontaine Volkswagen in Dearborn, MI. We recently opened up a brand new, state-of-the-art facility on Telegraph just south of Michigan Ave. I am somewhat new to the VW family and didn't realize how much of a loyal customer base they have. Almost everyone that we have sold a new or pre-owned VW to is either currently driving one or has owned one in the past. We would love to get all of the VW enthusiasts together to show off their new-school or classic rides.

I was trying to get some feedback on what everyone would think or if they would attend a "Grand Opening VW Car Show" when the weather breaks. It would be on our lot, probably on a Saturday afternoon or maybe even somethime in the evening during the week. It would be advertised through social media and maybe even during our commercials that air on WDIV. We would supply refreshments and maybe grill some dogs, burgers, etc. Maybe put together some kind of raffle for some gift/gas cards and such. Whether you are driving a tricked out GTI or a rusted Bus, we owuld like to know what you think. If you would like to be a part of it and have any other suggetions, please let me know! Thanks for the invite and for thinking of us. A Grand Opening sounds like a good idea, depending on date. We have a large membership base from SW Michigan and have our own car show, swap, and drag racing @ US 131 Motor Sports Park in Martin Mi.(between GR and Kalamazoo) the 5th of May. We would like to invite you and yours to come visit us and maybe we could return the favor? Again depending on date maybe we could get a caravan to the East side.
