"VW Nationals" Appletree, Lucas, Indy

Who is planning to go?
Car show, swap, vendors, drag race, autocross.
I plan to drag race, so far.
I am asking them some questions about rules etc. They say it is ECPRA rules but they only race Pro Mod and Pro Stock. Their rules don't cover the standard bracket classes.

I am not real pleased with Appletree honestly. (And, after ECPRA pulled out on us last minute at a previous Bug Run I am not thrilled with them either.)
I would have liked to see them get involved with the Bug Run's instead of doing this. I could not even get them to put fliers out on their counter.
They made a big deal about a planning meeting....
"Lucas Oil and Appletree Automotive hosted ECPRA members along with other key influencers in the VW community at a planning meeting for what we hope will become one of the largest VW events in the US." TheGoodvolks were not invited. However Harsh Winters and other clubs were. Not very cool when we are in their backyard and I know they had our contact info.

Even with my feelings toward Appletree and ECPRA I still plan to go..... Anyone else?

At the present time, Yes I plan on going. Won't know for sure until it gets way closer.

The fliers all talk about an autocross at this event. However, there is a "more info" tab for the show and for the swap and for the drag racing, nothing for the autocross. I will not be drag racing there. Would like to go for the swap, but am mostly interested in the autocross. I'll contact Appletree today and see what's up.

Sounds good!!! Are you guys going to caravan down? Leave that morn or night before? Driving Vws or other? What route, I-69, I can join up in IND.

Talked to Appletree. The details of the autocross are not finalized, but should be in "a week or so". I'll keep track and will post when more is known. They didn't want to open registration until all of the details were worked out.

Hey Bren, You should of told them how many Members we have ,maybe that would of got them thinking ,I'll sneek some Fliers on ther table when their not look'in ;D
