My Boss just stop in the shop and told me that VW is to tour Trelleborg Automotive where I work . How COOL is that . Glen

It sounds cool but when they come get ready for the white glove inspection and to be on your best behavior. I remember when I was working at the dealer they had to come through and inspect that everything was up to par. What a time that was.

I understand VW is looking to put a plant in the US again. Michigan is in the running.
Do us proud Glen. We sure could use some new jobs in South West Michigan!

Yes VW has a very high standard too. But I heard we are pretty much out of the running for the new plant because of Granholm and UAW

I'll go to work for them and I don't want or need any d**n union. just no weekends and time off for hunting. Nice converseing with you yesterday, Glen. We had a very nice chat with a lot of folks. Here at Trelleborg Automotive Americas in South Haven is the Corporate Headquarters for North and South America . We do advanced Prototype in Rubber parts, So when they come in to see us (not Me) ,They will be looking at the Testing lab and Dyno areas, Press room , Cem Lab . And will be talking about how or what Trelleborg can offer to help improve the VW line. Glen

I have been subject to a few white glove inspections myself. Working at Denso, I have never seen VW, or BMW. My two favorite car companies. Hope VW likes what they see Glen!!!

The last white glove inspection I was part of promised a foreign warm climate and all the rice I could eat. Can't stand either one after 33 months of both. Good luck, hope it turns out better than the experience I had. Later Kenn
