O.K. so I know it needs 2--110 hot lines and a ground or neutral?? My main question is.. I would like to hook a light into the switch box as an alert to tell me the compressor is on. How do I wire in a 110v light into a 220v line? Looked on line and am confussededddd Thanks Dave T cdn.tradebit.org/usr/stock-photos/pub/9002/417242.jpg .

You can hook a light into either hot leg and neutral.

When it is on that won't be a problem. It is when the kids turn it on and don't tell you... You turn the lights off and are inside relaxing when you hear it fire up With a light it will be an alert that it is on, also saftey so you don't put your fingers where they don't belong. Thanks Dave T
