It's sad how many dealers on craigslist can't spell volkswagen. Search "volkswagon" and see how many get it wrong. It's written on the car for gosh sakes.  |

Come on now, we all know it's spelled "karz"  It's a definite advantage to know the varied incorrect spellings on CL though  Like "voltswagon, voteswagon (seen once), vokeswagon, bettle" to name a few more. I've found a few good parts that I'd have never found with those permutations. There are more than a few sites designed to search $bay for such typo permutations that are mighty useful. I don't know of any off hand for CL though. edit: Also "vanogon" "beatle" "gia" "westie" "westphalia" and combinations of the previous ones I listed have yielded interesting stuff. |

I don't have any issue with the buck pole, but boy, it does sure seem to be a really important social occasion...
I saw a well-dressed young (high school) couple getting ready for a date...you guessed it, to the buck poles. It was obvious it was a special occasion...they were buying beer and Red Bull for the event!
