My Dad did the kingpins on his buggy in 68,with minimal tools. The kingpin set he got from Whitney's came with a reamer. I do know people that have tried honing to size, and maintaining alignment between the upper and lower is almost impossible. The correct size chucking reamer would not be too expensive. I will look in my archives for Dad's reamer.

No idea about kingpins
But I am planning on coming. I need to have 4 bus drums turned. If its ok I am planning on bringing a total of 8 drums 4 front and 4 rear. I am planning on choosing the best 4 to have turned but I need to have at least the front 2 turned to the exact inside dimension. Let me know if there is a problem.

AJ, no problem turning the drums. It would be helpful if we knew the drum limit specs. (should be in the service manual) - Thanks ------------------------------------------------------
One week to go. Bring what you'd like to work on or just come and join in.
PM me if you need the address or help with directions.
Just a reminder; I'll have sloppy joes, water, coffee & soft drinks. Please bring a bag of chips or your favorite side dish. Thanks!
Look forward to seeing everyone.

Ray - Thanks for Hosting the Tech Session. I had a great time at the last one and it looks like I will be able to attend next week. If your sandblast cabinet is available, I'd like to clean up a couple of axle tubes. Looking forward to lending a helping hand where needed.

I might come by a few hours in the afternoon. Please PM me the address. Or if you remember where I live you can meet me here and follow me or call me when you get off the highway and I will meet you at the park and ride that is to the right of the highway. What time are you planning on being around here?
