Linkpins are easy it's the kingpins the need to be reamed after installation,special tool is needed for them  |

My Dad did the kingpins on his buggy in 68,with minimal tools. The kingpin set he got from Whitney's came with a reamer. I do know people that have tried honing to size, and maintaining alignment between the upper and lower is almost impossible. The correct size chucking reamer would not be too expensive. I will look in my archives for Dad's reamer.

No idea about kingpins
But I am planning on coming. I need to have 4 bus drums turned. If its ok I am planning on bringing a total of 8 drums 4 front and 4 rear. I am planning on choosing the best 4 to have turned but I need to have at least the front 2 turned to the exact inside dimension. Let me know if there is a problem.

AJ, no problem turning the drums. It would be helpful if we knew the drum limit specs. (should be in the service manual) - Thanks

Ray - Thanks for Hosting the Tech Session. I had a great time at the last one and it looks like I will be able to attend next week. If your sandblast cabinet is available, I'd like to clean up a couple of axle tubes. Looking forward to lending a helping hand where needed.
