So, I am thinking about making a stainless header. I have a small Miller mig welder. Can someone tell me about welding stainless steel?

Same as welding mild steel, but, you use stainless steel wire. How small is your "small Miller mig welder"? Gas?

Doesn't stainless require pure Argon or Helium, or some inert gas? Also I thought a teflon liner? I can't remember for sure.

to mig weld stainless you usually use a tri-mix. Pure argon is for tig.

MIG welding Aluminum uses pure argon, and a spool gun. Stainless you can use Argon CO2 mix, at least, that's what I use. I don't know about a Teflon liner, but, I've never had the need.

I have a Miller 110 Volt. Right now I dont have gas with it. It does have the hookup for it. It works pretty good for what I need it for.

Using Argon CO2 mix is the most widely used gas when welding stainless steel. And there isnt anything wrong with using it. But I would recommend you use just argon. The appearance of the welds when you are done are so much nicer. I would also recommend that you purge the tubes with argon prior to welding.
The way you want to purge the tubing is to have a second regulator and hose. You will run the hose into one end of the tube either using a butt plug or just masking it in place. The other end of the tube you will want to mask off also butt place about an 1/8" hole in the tape. Turn a small flow of gas on to purge out all the contaminates a few minuets before you start welding the two matting surfaces. It is important to have your joints fit as tight as possible so you don't loose all your gas out the joints. When you purge weld stainless steel like this the welds look as pretty on the inside as they do on the out side. It looks like a little elf was tig welding the inside as you where mig welding the out side.
