Well we are at Motts Childrens Hospital for Addy's hip surgery. She is currently in surgery. I will up date this as I can. Or if you are on facebook we update that more often.

The screen says Addison is in recovery now, that means 45 min and we get to see our princess !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!​!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!​!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!​!!!!!!! Yay Praise the Lord, I will message you all again when we are in her room ¢¾ ¢¾ ¢¾

Please say some very strong prayers for Addison. Her hematocrit is only 5 at six they need to to transfusions, they are taking her to icu now she is not responding to them well. They did a stat blood gas to see and she now is headed to icu for a blood transfusion, getting an aterial line and her electolytes are all over the place. They have placed her on a cardiac monitors and need knowledge to figure this all out. All this is very scary...... Please say prayers for us to have strength and make it through all of this.... especially for her!!!
They are not sure if this is a reaction to anestehsia or the surgery or something else with her count being low.... Please think of her and us and send all the possitive vibes you can. She needs all the strength she can get!!! ¢¾

Just posted new pics of Addison she opened her eyes and is watching cartoons just wating on blood test results to see the next step and I will update when me know more! Keep those prayers coming they are a working!!! Amazing you all are and thank you god for so many blessings in our lives!!! ¢¾ ¢¾

Doctors made second rounds and they are going to let Addison try eating breakfast and are feeling for now that she does not need another blood transfusion, her hematocrit is at 8 and is low but they are thinking that is ok at the moment. We may be headed to the floor by this afternoon, we have an appt at 1:30 today with Pt to do car seat training and wheelchair training. She may have a very long six weeks ahead of her, send prayers of strength and recovery thanks everyone!!! ¢¾

Addison had a rough night last night Lots of pain and she is not urinating at all on her own, they had to do several bladder scans and to straight cath her a couple of times. They are not looking to release her anytime today because they need to get her pain tolerance under control and she needs to be able to pee on her own and poop eventually. She is having muscle spasms and is miserable because she cannot move, also she has been complaining about her right hip so they are checking into that. Please keep praying and thank you for all that you have been doing. Visitors are welcome but at her discretion so please call first.

Karen and I went to visit yesterday afternoon, although still in alot of pain, a little grouchy and pissed at not being able to move. She's doing better, color is returning and I saw a couple of smiles from grumpy butt. She got her new ($500.) car seat that allows her to sit more upright and was happier when she got to ride around in it(it also fits in her wheel chair). We toured the hospital, went to the Cafe, walked around outside(shortly), the returned to the playroom across the hall from her room. Played with the Play Dough, Gramma brought her. Got her hair washed and a sponge bath and was resting fairly comfortably when we left. Grandma got a kiss Poppa got a cold shoulder, you, "chopped liver!" (inside joke).

Addison is having a rough night again, they have been cathing her every six hours and she is so swollen down there that it took three nurses to assist in doing this so we made the decision to place a foley back in, setting us back. We wanted to go home today but with her not going to the bathroom on her own, it looks like this may not be happening. She is very swollen and in pain It is very hard to watch her go through this! Pray for her to be able to pee soon.....and for strength too! ¢¾

Still no peeing and straight cathing She is still swollen but I have been pushing the ice pack and we are giving her some zofran now to help with nausea and she was able to eat more last night. She needs to drink more and then pee, she still has an iv going. Doctors round in about about two hours, I will let you know more when they inform us. Thank you for all the prayers, I cannot tell you that enough!!! ¢¾

she is home and in pain. she can only lay down or sit in the car seat. not like the "normal " Addy.

She is doing better. Getting to sit in her car seat that we now got. It is an expensive seat ( thank G_D for medicaid ). She has spent time with Mom and Dad, and our neighbor due to me working 12 hour days and Jamie going to school ( 15 credit hours ).
