I'm really thinking about this for 2013. From the website, it looks like any type of vehicle can race. So is the '67 going for a top speed record?

At Bonneville, they have a new class for 1600 VW's similar in concept to the 36hp land speed record cars. I don't think this class exists with the East Coast organiztion, but I'd bet that if a few of us wanted to run, they might adopt it. My understanding is that it is 1584cc, single 1bbl. I am sending for rule books to find out the details.
Not sure if the 67 would be legal (planning on no front brakes)
