I am in the bartering phase for this Manx style buggy. It is complete, but does not run. It is on a 65 chassis, link pin front, swing axle rear. Motor he isn't sure, but it is probably a 1500sp I would assume. He claims last time it ran, it was only running on one bank. Does not run now. What would something like this be worth? What would you pay for this?

I think I would pay $600-800 if floor is good and wiring is ok. less if those need major repair. I like that body though.

I've haven't seen it in person yet. We're bartering through email and pictures currently. It's to the point now, Im going to go with cash I think. Not going to devuldge what I got him to currently, but will if/when it's over. As far as wiring, thats all straight forward and I don't worry much about that, because I always redo all that on cars anyway to get away from years of "rig" jobs, etc. It might be more of an issue with some others, but myself having an extensive electrical background, never think about that stuff, other than a bartering pawn. He said the floor pan, he doesn't know, because it's fiberglass. Apparently the buggy is a "bucket" style, and sitting on the original pan. So, yes, the floor is ok, but then again, the metal pan underneith may be a different story.
I'm not sure if I'll keep it, and might just flip it. But it all depends on what I get it for.

$800 would be a pretty good price. Not sure about the fiberglass floor thing. Never seen that before. Have any interior pics?
