when and where are they?

As I mentioned when I joined this group, I have been out of the bug circles for just over a decade. Now, re-entering the community with my teenaged daughter, I would like to start taking her to bug shows, events, and races. When we were involved in the culture years ago, we lived in California, so we know nothing, or no one in Michigan about events and when and where things happen. When does the bug events start picking up in Lower Michigan? I would like to start looking for some, and look forward in attending with the daughter. We live south of Kalamazoo, so I would like to find some events that we could attend in a day trip on weekends..

We keep our events list as up to date as possible. You can find it in the shows/club gtg's section. There's a show coming up in Toledo on the 16th and the bug run on the 30th. Unfortunately the season is winding down
