 My Dad bought me my first bug when I was 18. It was a blue sedan Super Beetle with a nifty sunroof. I can't remember the year, but my dad thinks it was a '71 with a 75 engine. Then, when I was a student at MSU, I bought my second Beetle, a lovely yellow convertible with a black top, 1974, I think. This is my latest, a 1970 VW Beetle convertible -- my 45th birthday present from my husband! So fun to be a Bug owner again!
