Anyone ever dye their carpet?

Hey everybody:

I noticed that the parcel shelf in the Pig of Plastic is pretty faded.

Has anyone had any experience with dying their carpets? It looks pretty easy on YouTube, but I don't know. It really stand out now that the seats are all black.

Dave, you used to able to buy a spray dye for speaker grilles. I would try to find something like that.

It appears to be much more sophisticated these days, you spray it on, work it in every direction, and let it dry.

Looks kind of cool...it appears to be a mainstay of the car detailing fraternity these days.

I did it for the beige car I had. Used standard fabric dye. Did it in the washing machine. Worked great.
