Congratulations, AJ! Your garage is bigger than my house. (Must....control....envy...) :-)

Thanks for all your kind words.
Tonight will be the first night spent in the empty house. I am betting it will feel more like staying at a friends house or camping until all of our stuff is moved in.
I will try to answer all your questions tomorrow when I have more time.

Congrats!!! You could knock out the end of the use to be garage on the end of the house and reclaim it as garage square footage??? Just tell "Wifey" that was the plan all along? Think she'll buy it?? Congratulation! Can't wait for your return to full time VWness. Kenn has a good plan there. You'll need a place for the lawnmowers and stuff so they don't mess up YOUR shop That is what the Shed out back is for. The rules are the Garage is Mine but I have to keep an open area so Wifey can park her car in the garage. Someone does not want to scrape windows in the winter time. Any how much land goes with it? Just under 1 acre or 0.9 of an acre. I am just telling everyone that its 1 acre its just easier that way. AJ: Congratulations! Looks like PLENTY of space to work on VWs! Shouldn't you and LeAnne have a name for the new homestead? Southfork? ;D Dave Riedle P.S. Maybe I watch too much TV? Ummmm? TV before my time? Very sweet! Nothin like a nice dry place to work on the cars! Does it gave heat? No not yet but thinking about it also thinking of A/C too.
