I Purchased a Garage

Well if you have noticed I kind of have disappeared this year. After my job moved to Battle Creek the commute from the west side of Kalamazoo to Battle Creek every day is costing me about $300 a month just in fuel for my gas guzzling truck. So we made up our mind late in 2011 to move closer to my job. After talking with Banks and Realtors we found out that our credit scores sucked, but if we stayed focused we had a very slim chance. In order of us to stay focused, payoff old debt, and save money we had to cut some expenses. First expense to cut was my VW budget. So in order to stay focused I disappeared and stepped back from the VW scene.
In the end it was worth it
Welcome to my new 1,300 square foot VW Haven or My Garage.
To make Wifey happy she required actual living space. I told her that 1,300 square foot of garage space is larger than some homes and that we could just live in the garage. Well I lost discussion and ended up with this on the property too.
Together they look like this.
It is a nice 1,400 square foot 2 bedroom 1 bath home located at the northwest corner of Battle Creek called Bedford Township.
We currently just started the moving in process and our current apartment lease is up the end of August so we have plenty of time to move.
I plan on still disappearing until the early part of September moving and if I can make it I might attend a show or two in August.
Just to let everyone know I am still planning to run the Color Tour again this year and I have a few ideas going around in my head. Look for me starting a thread soon.
