Race 3.
Second race at Dragway 42, Ohio.

Bren out first round.
Dialed in 14.64. Ran 14.59; 90mph.
Bad; lost. Good; best time and mph to date.

Rudy won first round.
Broke out second round.


Ohio Tom Simpson won.
Phil McLish (sp?) was runner up.
Last race was a cool one.
Phil dialed in at 19ish seconds. Ohio Tom, 10ish.
Tom had to sit at the light 9 seconds then ran Phil down and won. Exciting race!

Next race is at Magnolia in Ohio August 4. It is a 1/8 mile track.

1st pass was on a 17.17 dial in after a best practice run of 17.18. Dropped the dial in to 17.11 for the second run because the air was getting cooler. Ran a 17.07 (and on the brakes crossing the line)

Running this series is really a lot of fun. A bunch of great people. Many familiar faces from the days of the Milan Bug Outs and more recently from the Bug Runs.

Next event is 8/4. Can't wait!

Had a great time in Ohio this weekend.

Bren made it to the second round when lane 1 bit him. There were red lights galore in that lane.

I kinda, well, um, well..............STUNK. Had good reactions in practice but messed up in round one when it counted.

Lot of good racing. Bren did the best of us that were in the tie.

I'll get him in the finals the next time ;D ;D ;D
