Eye surgey

Had a VA appt. a few days ago in Ann Arbor,3 diff. Doc's look@ My eyes ,I told 'em I'm blind in one eye and can't hear out of the other ;D Now I'm going under the Knife/laser for cat-r-ack (spelling ;D) on the 10th and I'm a bit worred cuz my Dad went blind when they did his 30yrs ago I was told they do hundreds of these a day and I said " I want the Doctor that only does about 3 or 4 a day and Not on a Monday or Friday" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

My grandmother lost her license from poor eyesight due to cat-r-acks. She got the laser thing done in both eyes and now has 20/20 vision. Don't even need to where glasses anymore

I totally understand your concern, but keep in mind, that was 30 years ago. Medical technology has come so far in the last decade alone. This procedure has become almost routine. Try not to worry too much.
That and we will all be sending mojo and prayers and what not

Hey Mike, this surgery is very common. I know several people who have gone through it and everyone has commented on how fast they recover and how well they can see again.

Poor vision might be a blessing in disguise...

First, if you are slow, you can say "I couldn't see the tree..."

Second, you won't be able to see when you come REALLY close to the wall. That means you won't have to call Black Ice "The Brown Streak" anymore!

Seriously, Dorothy had both her eyes done last year, and she now sees a great deal better than I do!

Doctors do this about 10 times a day these days. Practice makes perfect!

Well I can see out of my left eye with out glasses (1st time in 50yrs ;D) the bad: No lifting 10lbs(Garage Door,Turbo,cranks, ect. ,No Hot Tub,NoRacing,yea right ;D well I'm gonna comply or go blind ::)Then get the other done,Thanks for the support GV members,I'm sure it helped ;D,MadMike
