Update on the baja replaced a blownout brake light switch, interior has been finished up except for a headliner and body work and paint got finished up on one of the weekends I was back from school. I've been researching for a while now and have found a few single port turbo setups that I would like to attempt. Any knowledge would be appreciated. From most things I have found, a progressive 32/36 should be good for a smaller t3 setup running around 8lbs of boost. They used the stock fuel pump and an 009. He mounted the turbo to a cut trimill exhaust. I'm not trying to build a monster of an engine by any means I would just like some more umph compared to stock that wont break the bank.

Thanks vwrick69 and madmike, I've seen where a few guys let the turbo drain into the 1/2 valve cover. I found a really good write up of how a guy built a very similar setup that I would like for his manx here is the link www.smbaker.com/sand-rail/manx/monster-turbocharged-volkswagen-manx. It's nothing huge but I think I will be happy with the extra power. I'll make sure I lock the 009 out haha Glad to see others going the turbo route at the same time.

Hey! Me and some friends spotted you last weekend heading North on 96. We were in the Dark Blue MK4 Jetta that waved at you

I love those dirt roads around the Allegan State Game area, especially at night. Something about night time driving on dirt roads just gets me. There is just something really cool about driving through dark wooded trails by headlamps...it give me this good feeling inside. Maybe it's because it reminds me of all the times I have gotten up really early in the morning with my dad to sneak out to our favorite duck hunting hole opening day. Good memories.
;D
