I'll still be there, even if i'm having fun by myself!  Sand Rail is up on the T-trailer and ready to haul. I've never been to silver lake though(Driving, only watching), so it will be exiting. Are you still going Pikeman? I'll need someone to show me the ropes of the dunes  |

Are there generally enough people wheeling around on September weekends to give me a tow if needed? I've got over 200 miles on the engine with no issues, but you never know.

I have found people on the dunes to be very helpful. In the past if I was stopped and out looking at something someone would always stop and ask if I needed anything. No guarantees but I think you would be ok. Probably best to be on the dunes when it is slow the first time. Busy is hectic and dangerous.

so bummed I missed this!! I have just had a long summer working on other stuff other than my bug and just got on here to see this. Hopefully I can get the wiring done and get her running before snow flies.

It was nice out on Sunday, we waited because it has less of a chance of rain(And i had to go to a wedding reception). We spent about 2 hours on the dunes and then I lost my flag. Only broke down once, somehow my condenser wire came off the coil while hitting the whoops Sorry I didn't see your post soon enough 68baja, I assumed no one was going  Attachments:
