What I do is use photobucket (it is free).
Within photobucket I reduce the photos in size to the preset size for forums/websites.
Then at the bottom of the photo there are 3 links you can use. Copy the one that starts and end with IMG. Past that into your posting and the photo appears like magic.

You can also hit the button above the smileys to the left of the email button then post the link to the photo inbetween. That way you can link any photo you find on the net you want to post.
