A Puma coupe a couple of years newer than mine just sold on eBay for $18,100.

It's not as nice as mine, and mine is not worth that in my opinion.
That's nice Ghia money.
Of course, somebody spent $217,000 for a nice 23 window bus...
Interesting thing there is a 23 window bus that looked VERY nice sold at the next auction for $24,000. The prices did not seem stick at the high level.
I thought that when somebody paid $50,000 a few years ago for a Westy that had every receipt and the most complete history possible, including the European delivery papers, it was too high, but possibly understandable.
The guy who runs the Puma website is having a Jake Raby full-tilt (200 hp) Type IV engine and a custom 5 speed built up for around $20,000, and I sort of see that...if I really squint and rub my eyes hard...
But that is real Porsche money...
And a Puma is not a Porsche...

no I'm not calling the puma that I think It's a cool car I'm just say'in people pay way too much for cars at auctions

I agree, but like many eBay car purchases, the difficulty will come when you actually have to get paid.
I think this one is wishful thinking.
