Thanks guys ------------------------------------ More stuff...
Thought of having four gauges to monitor the engine. Volt Meter, Oil Temperature, Cylinder Head Temp & Oil Pressure (0-80psi). I'll be running a 30mm Full Flow pump, and think the 80psi gauge is okay?
Connecting Rods - the "kit" I'm getting comes with german rebuilt rods. Let me know what you think
Headers - Don't have em yet, but thinking 1 1/2" should be good. Ceramic or Not? I have ceramic headers on the Miata and it makes a big difference.
Heater Boxes - Same as Headers 1 1/2"
Fuel Pressure Regulator - I'll be running an electric fuel pump. Looks like the 44IDF's like 3psi, so I'll need a regulator. Which one(s) have you had good luck with?
Thanks again. Trying to establish a list to take to the Buggy Show ;D

Ray, the ceramic coat is the only reason my rail exhaust has lasted this long. The Holley regulator is the good one.

Ray, I have a Holley regulator I'll sell for what I have into it(got it from Lane Automotive last summer. Then Clinton told me to go with an electric fuel pump and one from CB is rated for 3psi. You may want to check it out or let me know and come get the Holley.

Paul, I'll most likely go with Ceramic coating (in & out). Thanks
Kenn, Thanks for the offer and I'll check out the CB fuel pump.

Its been a while, and with it comes some possible variations in the project. Instead of carburetors; seriously considering injection. The MP45 blower is looking for a good home too. This would take some thought and fabrication, but I like fuel injection and having 9psi of boost on tap is always a plus Changes... - high pressure fuel pump and 3/8' or 10mm fuel lines - 40 or 44 IDF bodies, modified to hold the 440 injectors - crank angle sensor would need to be designed/fabbed - remove throttle plates from carb bodies and go with a single throttle body - with equal length runners. - MAP sensor and IAT sensor would need a home - Got most of the wiring harness. Would need to massage it to work. - O2 sensor(s) in header - Convert engine pulley to 4-rib, to match blower - design & fab blower bracket This would continue to be a longggggg term project. Look'n for your thoughts & ideas. Thanks

Certainly easier to stuff a blown motor under the decklid than a turbo motor.
