A friend came over the other day and brought some photos of when I raced my 1967 Beetle (not the same one I have today). It had 13" wheels, 1776cc w/dual webers, w110 cam and pretty much stock. I had a blast with it. Here's me going through the course in 1978 (old scanned photos)    |

Solo's at Grattan were big fun. Did you ever run at Ionia or Johnson Park?

Nope, never ran at those places. I did a few parking lot events. Every time I got tech'd they'd say "don't roll that thing". I never did.
